  BIBLE –the book of life –during the centuries has been the source of inspiration for creators to make artistic interpretations. Each one retains these unfading texts their own way thus defining the point according to their own interest towards that. Bible themes occupy quite distinguished place in Tamar Minashvili’s creation. Wielding a skillful technique of icon – painting her works are marked out with that of Christian Icon shade.
  In 2002 Tamar Mihashvili created the series “The Women From The Bible”. Owing to her peculiar understanding, these works are easily recognizable due to original salvation and picturesqueness. The compositions: “Judith”, ”Rebecca parting with Jacob”, ”Salomea”, ”Biblian Tamar”  show unusually expressive images.
