This diminutive sculpture stimulates the associations that of Venus images’ artistic varieties. Woman’s torso is expressed headless and without hands at a slight revolve. Naked body’s volume and outlines are felt under a thin cloth over the body. Slightly oblong proportions attain some of tenderness and elegance to this figure. Unusual synthesis of ancient Georgian plastic and “avant-garde” forms defines the originality of G. Japaridze’s art. Sculptural personages of his artistic – variety world are characterized with stylization of plastic forms and conditional – decorative salvation. The author never fails to feel moving plastic, shape elegance. Figures in motion or of internal tension greatly attract him. The kneeled figure’s outline is distinct and tectonic. Long, angular plastic forms produce strong, moving shape thus attaining dynamism to the figure. The painter purposefully avoids the concretization. The main accent by the author is made here on grace, sensation and inner tension. Due to plastic forms elegance, angular configuration, completeness of space – volume sums salvation and treatment specification make this small – sized work peculiarly expressive.

Main conception of this sculpture has got to show human body, as a symbol of emotion and harmony. Human figure is depicted rather conditionally, by means of masses and outline. The painter appeals to form stylization and exaggeration to create the atmosphere of something peculiar and refined. The dancer’s thin and oblong body has been the expression of plying and grace. The space is spread around the distinctively thin and vertical lined dancer’s figure and offers some dynamical perceive version. Each figurative element even more forces emotional disposition. A supporting point of small diameter and its clear contrast with a massive base, distinctive rhythm of verticals and horizontals, moving shape and pose seem to be very expressive. One of the defining points of his figurative language appears to be color of the material and specify of its processing.
